Proposal for Cancer Website David Courtney Jones

The proposed project is to create a website based on all the information compiled during the research for a late client of mine. I had compiled a lot of information during the last eight months of Keith’s life, I believe that MY knowledge is sufficient enough to implement the creation of a profitable website. Although Keith’s condition was Colorectal Cancer Metastases (mCRC), i have collected enough information that could be of benefit to most types of cancer patients; furthermore, information that I do not yet possess can easily be acquired through further research.

I David Courtney-Jones specialised in different areas of cancer research for my client; i as personal/ private chef to a businessman, also concentrated on dietetics and natural remedies, I concentrated on the conventional and alternative medicines. During the course of investigation i noticed that information on the internet can sometimes be hard to come by, especially that there were very few websites which exhibited all the necessary information required. Hence, i propose to build a website where all this vital information that people need will be compiled and explained into one place. A ONE STOP SITE:

i believe that the website has the potential to be profitable, this is because:-

• It will be globally available online, subject to subscription. The intention is to build a site that attracts targeted traffic AdWords, through the implementation of web utilities such as Google AdSense. Through the site’s traffic, I may also take advantage of the PPC system where the most competitive keywords can help to generate profits.

• It will be globally available online, subject to subscription or penny per click etc.

• i will make use of popular safe money transaction utilities, such as PayPal

• my long-term intention is to create and sell books out of the information i make available online for those who prefer to read it the old fashioned way; also, over the course of time i will release these books in subsequent editions as my knowledge and information becomes more abundant.

• For a fee (subject to amount of labour) i will also implement any type of cancer research the client requests.

• i will also sell:-

o Other books on the subject of cancer

o Natural foods

o Vitamins

o Minerals

o Diet sheets and nutritional sheets that are specific to a person’s individual condition

As a researcher and masterchef, it is facile for me to take full advantage of my abilities in order to dig out all sorts of information through quantitative and qualitative methods of research; hence, both the website and the information i shall give to my clients directly, will be accurate as well as effectual. As my knowledge on the subject of cancer expands further, the information i provide on the website will continually grow and emerge more substantive. Therefore, my long-term aspirations and expectations are to eventually build a reputable name for myself.

I have observed many different cancer websites and believe that mine will be anomalous compared to everywhere else. This is because i will continue to build upon the information i have already got plus include additional features that are unique to my website only, such as the client’s research requests. In many instances many people may not have the time, patience or effective ability to do research themselves; hence, i offer to do it for them.

Building a website, organising all the current information and researching for new ones, and posting it all in my own style can be quite time consuming; henceforth, i request that if this proposal is successful, I shall need to allocate enough time throughout my daily schedule to implement this task.

my intention is not to present myself as professional in the medical field but experienced researcher/chef with a vast knowledge on the subject of Cancer and Cancer researchand culinary arts specific to terminal illnesses. I will collaborate with the likes of:-

• Doctors

• Scientists / Medical Researchers

• Nutritionists

• Dieticians

• Credible associations

I will ensure that no work is plagiarised and that all my assignments are clearly referenced from the correct individuals, studies or institutions they originate from.

Although my intention is to begin this business with the aspiration of creating a site primarily regarding cancer, i may also have the potential of expanding further it into other medical fields later on down the line. Other ventures may include:-

• Selling health insurance

• Starting my own charity

• Provide information on various types of health related issue, some may include:-

o Dental health

o Mental health

o Cosmetic surgery

o Weight gain and weight lose therapies

o Overseas health care etc.

• Propitious affiliations and partnerships
